How to report a Quick Employer Forms bug?

Does anyone know how to report a Quick Employer Forms bug?  I've already tried calling TurboTax, and that didn't work.  Is there another method to report a bug?  There is yet another issue with the programming in this year's Quick Employer Forms making it so I can't fix a TurboTax error.

TurboTax e-filed all of my 1099-NECs and W-2s TWICE (even though I only e-filed them once).  This created duplicate 1099-NECs with the IRS.  To fix this, I need to file a corrected 1099-NEC with $0 as the amount.  This will cancel out the duplicate, leaving only the original.  This has been confirmed by the IRS as the method to fix this.

However, Quick Employer Forms will not allow me to file a corrected 1099-NEC for $0.  It gives an error saying I need to have an amount in the amount field (not $0).  Filing a corrected 1099-NEC for $0 is how you fix many, many 1099 errors, so this is a bug in QEF to stipulate that there must be an amount in the amount box (not just $0).  All other providers of 1099 software allow you to file a corrected 1099 for $0--this is a programming error unique to TurboTax.

The IRS said because TurboTax e-filed the original 1099-NECs, I must file the correction with TurboTax, so I can't use another software provider, a paper form, or file the correction myself with the IRS.  I have to fix TurboTax's mistake by filing a correction with TurboTax, and QEF won't let me.

Could TurboTax please fix this bug?  Filing a corrected 1099-NEC for $0 is how you fix many 1099 errors.  I've now spoken with TurboTax for over FIVE hours over the past two days trying to get this fixed, to no avail.

Hi Ralph,

Thank you so much for the update!  I really appreciate that TurboTax is fixing their filing error!  I've been trying to get help with this duplicate filing for over a week, so I'm really happy to hear your response that TurboTax is resolving this issue.

One question for you:  I see in Quick Employer Forms where one of my 1099-NECs is marked by TurboTax as having a duplicate, and it says TurboTax will fix that one.  However, there is an issue for the other 1099-NEC--the one where I attempted to submit a correction for $0 (but the correction didn't go through due to the TurboTax bug not allowing $0 corrections).  When I attempted to submit the correction (that didn't go through), it changed the status of that 1099-NEC to "incomplete," even though the 1099-NEC had already been accepted by the IRS (twice actually, due to the duplicate filing by TurboTax) and it used to say "e-file accepted" before I attempted the correction.  For that 1099-NEC, it didn't get the "duplicate" designation next to it.  Will that duplicate also get fixed?

It's tricky in Quick Employer Forms where as soon as you click on "correction," it erases the previous QEF status of the form, changing the status from "e-file accepted" to "incomplete" even though the form has already been accepted (twice) by the IRS and the correction wasn't submitted due to the bug.  Now, the status for that form says "void_incomplete" (even though it's already been accepted twice by the IRS), and if I click "edit" it says, "You cannot edit e-filed forms.  The form you are trying to access has already been accepted by the IRS."  I just want to make sure that 1099-NEC (which also was e-filed twice by TurboTax) will also get fixed.

Thanks again for your help!
