If you opened up Form 4684 and found you don't want to use it, you will need to delete the form. Here is how to do that: Click on Tax Tools toward the bottom left corner. Select Tools. Click on Delete a form. Scroll down the list and find Form 4684. Select Delete on the right and then Confirm the delete. If you have a state return, you may need to delete these forms under your state as well. When the forms is deleted, click Continue my return. Click Review on the left and see if this clears up the error.
