Question

I accidentally said "yes" when prompted to delete K1 from xx LLC. I lost history of carry forward losses from 2023. Any way to import it

K1 carry forward losses from 2023 lost. How do I reimport last years K1 data

    You can't import from the 2023 K-1 or tax file. If the K-1 loss flowed through the 2023 8582, open the 2023 return or PDF and look at the 8582/8582AMT worksheets (Part VII column c), which should show the carryforward losses to 2024. 

    For QBI, if that applies, look at the details of the 2023 form 8995 or 8995-A 

     

     

     

    If you used desktop, there's a backup copy from the last time you closed the return. it starts with a~ and in windows should be in the c:\users\users name\documents\turbotax      folder
