I tried the suggestions to delete a K1 but I can't find the screen with a delete button.

  • Login to your TurboTax online account
  • Click Take me to my return
  • In the upper right hand corner, click My Account > Tools. A pop up box will appear. Click Delete a Form
  • Scroll down the list of forms and click Delete next to K-1.
  • Click Delete Form to confirm. You should see the message Form Successfully Deleted
  • Click Continue.

***Make sure the form is deleted by reviewing the Review Form List screen and confirming form K-1 is no longer on the list.

This did not work. I went through the steps and deleted my correct estate K1 and verified that there were no K1s. Then re-entered my estate K1, and the other one for a phantom partnership is still. The review is requiring me to enter partnership name, which does not exist.

The proper way to delete an unwanted K-1 is from the K-1 Summary screen, which also removes the associated worksheets.

  1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax, if you haven't already.
  2. Using the search feature in the upper right, search for K-1 and select the Jump to link in the search results.
  3. Answer Yes to Did you receive any Schedules K-1 or Q? Select this even if the correct answer is no.
  4. Select Update next to the type of K-1 you initially entered (partnership/LLC, S corp, or estate/trust).
  5. On the K-1 Summary screen, select Delete next to the K-1 you want to remove. Answer Yes on the following screen.
  6. Select Done.
  7. If necessary, repeat steps 4–7 for other K-1s you need to remove.
