I am self employed and when I did my taxes, I filed jointly with my husband, which I have done since I started my business, I added his name 1st then my name, When I filed and printed out the tax infomation, His name and SSN was on my schedule C as the business owner, which is not correct. I am the business owner. How do I correct this information? Do I need to file an amended return once the IRS receives my return?

by default, Turbbotax uses the SSN of the first taxpayer listed on page 1 of the 1040, during the process of completing Schedule C you should have seen a question about it being for your spouse. if the return is accepted, you will have to wait until it's fully processed and then amend it. if you get 1099s from customers you might get a notice from the IRS because it will appear to it that none of your income has been reported.  while you may complete the 1099s in Turbotax all they do is transfer amounts to the proper schedule. they are not submitted as part of your return.
