Question

I am trying to populate box 5b Qualified dividends on the K1 1120-S. In order to fill this out, my business needs to issue a 1099-DIV. How can I issue one of these?

Yes, you can prepare Form 1099-DIV from TurboTax Business using Quick Employer Forms:

  1. Start TurboTax (do not open a return). 
  2. Look for "Prepare Employee & Contractor Paperwork" at the bottom of the first screen. 
  3. Click the blue button to begin. 
  4. Log into Quick Employer Forms with your TurboTax account information.
