Question

I am using TT online. How do I carryover 2022 NOL? When I search NOL and jump to that section, it only gives me the option to enter my 2021 carryover amounts. Thank you.

You must be working on your 2022 tax return, so the net operating loss carryforward to it would be from 2021.

I am working on my 2022 taxes for this current filing period, but I am wanting to carry my some of my NOL to 2023 taxes. I don't have any carryover from 2021. Thank you.

You may need to prepare Form 461Limitation on Business Losses and attach it to your tax return. TurboTax does not support that form. The instructions to the form state that you only need to file it if your losses are over $270,000. Here is a link to the form: Form 461 instructions

Otherwise, you would just enter the carryover loss when you do next year's tax return.
