Is your LLC a single-member LLC or a multi-member LLC? If it's a multi-member LLC, are you and your spouse the only members? If so, what state are you in?

Has the LLC filed a form with the IRS to be treated as either a C corp or an S corp for tax purposes?

If your business entity is a S Corporation, C Corporation or a Partnership you will have to use the TurboTax Business Edition for tax year 2021.  The Business Edition can only be installed on a Windows based personal computer, not online or on a Mac.

Go to this TurboTax website for the 2021 Business Edition - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

However, if your business is a single member LLC that has NOT incorporated then your business is a disregared entity and you file a Schedule C.  The Schedule C is included with and part of your personal tax return, Form 1040.  If you did not include a Schedule C with the 2021 tax return you filed then you will have to amend the 2021 tax return to include the Schedule C where you report your income and expneses for self-employment.

See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a 2021 tax return originally completed and fled using TurboTax - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-2021-return/L1gEU4G3X_US_en_US?uid=la8sb2p7

You need to buy Turbo Tax Business here (last one on the far right).   Don't confuse it with Home & Business.  You need a full Windows computer to install it on.  Not on a Mac and not online.

But you needed to do the business return before your personal return.  You will get a W2 or K-1 from the business return to enter into your personal return.  So you will need to amend your 1040 return to add it.

A multi-member LLC is generally treated as a partnership. However, if you and your spouse are the only members and you live in a community property state you have the option to treat it as a disregarded entity.

The bottom line of all of this is that you should have done your business taxes before your personal taxes, or together with your personal taxes. So no matter what type of LLC you have, you are going to have to amend the personal tax return that you filed. Depending on the type of LLC, you may or may not have to first file a separate tax return for the LLC.
