I did not see an option to claim a tax credit for the 3rd stimulus. I did not receive the 2nd or 3rd stimulus. Should I wait to file until it is available to claim?

File your return. When you get to the federal review you have the opportunity to reconcile your stimulus payments. The third stimulus will come to you automatically. You don’t have to apply for it.

No, the third stimulus payment is not tied to your 2020 return like the first 2 payments are, but once the IRS has your banking information from your 2020 return, they will use that to send the third payment.
