I don't have a business why can't i delete the Schedule C?

My tax return includes a Schedule C now and it never did before. I don't own a business and never have. It's causing me to qualify for the QBI. I have a rental property however I simply pay a management company to take care of renting it. How do i fix this and get rid of the schedule c?

To remove Schedule C from your tax return follow the steps below:

Login to your TurboTax account.
Click Continue Your Return.
On the left side of the screen click Tax Tools.
Click on Tools.
Click on delete a form.
Scroll through the list until you find the form you see Schedule C then select delete.

I have tried to do that several times. It deletes at first but then comes back.

Please try deleting your Schedule C on the Schedule C screens first before you delete the forms.

To delete your Schedule C, please follow the instructions below:

Open your return.
Search schedule c with the magnifying glass tool on the top of the page.
Go to the Jump to schedule c link in the search results.
If you get to a self-employment summary screen, delete the self-employment income line with the trash can icon.
If you get to the question Did you have any self-employment income or expenses? answer No.
Click on Tax Tools.
Click on Tools.
Click on Delete a Form.
Scroll down and click Delete next to your Schedule C.

I attempted to delete it 3 different ways and even shut down everything and reopened it to retry however it kept coming back. In the end I deleted the entire return and started from scratch. In the end that worked but neither of these answers helped me.

Similar problem. Used to have Schedule C. Now retired. Starting up TT it asks which forms to delete and then it says it can't delete Schedule C so for last couple of years I have to just keep entering -0- . Very frustrating.
