Question

I filed a W-2 in 2019 and received the first two stimulus payments. I filed a 1099 for 2020 and now cannot track my 2021 stimulus payment. Do I still get the stimulus?

The stimulus payments are based upon your AGI.  Filing a 1099 or W-2 has nothing to do with eligibility.  If you are single and your 2020 AGI is $75,000 or less, you will eventually get the full stimulus.  If you are married filing joint, the AGI is $150,000. The stimulus checks phase out entirely for those whose adjusted gross income is over the following amounts: $80,000 for individuals. $120,000 for those filing as head of household. $160,000 for married couples filing jointly, or those filing as a qualifying widow or widower.
