I had a baby last year, and need to put in for the $1400 stimulus check for her, how do I enter that?

Your new dependent will be entered under the My Info tab in the Dependents section. Regardless of the birthday, make sure you indicate the baby lived with you "the whole year". Even if the child was born on Dec 31 of the tax year. Otherwise, you won't qualify for a number of credits.

Make sure you have entered your child as a dependent in My Info, and that you have entered the child's Social Security number. If your child was born in 2021make sure you said he lived with you the whole year.  There is an oddly worded question that asks if the child paid over half their own support.  Say NO to that question.

The software is going to put in the EIP payment for her automatically and it will show up on line 30.   You still have to answer questions for the recovery rebate credit in Federal Review before you file, though.
