Question

I have a painting and handy man business. Where do i put my materials that I need for my jobs? Do they go under supplies?

Is it best to break them up month by month since I have a lot of materials?

No, just add the total for the supplies for each mont and use the grand total to enter as an expense in the supplies category of Schedule C.
