Question

I have formed my first LLC & it's subject to an $800 tax in California. Do I file this separately? Or do I include it when I do my personal taxes?

If your LLC was registered in 2024, then you need to pay the annual fee by the 15th of the 4th month from the date you file with the Secretary of State. It's best to pay it using the CA FTB's website here

The filing of the CA LLC return will depend on whether it is a single-member LLC (SMLLC) or a multi-member LLC (MMLLC). SMLCC form can be filed together with your individual tax return. MMLLC is filed separately.
