I have two errors on my income tax. It wants a dollar amount for box 16. None of my forms have a box 16….what do I do? Any help???

Can you specify which form the error is referring to? If it is for a W-2, box 16 is the state's wages. If there's nothing in your W-2, try entering "0" or leaving it blank. If your state doesn't have state taxes (for example Florida) but have "FL" in box 15 and nothing in box 16, then leave both 15 and 16 empty. 

Both W2 and 1099R  have a box 16.  Box 16 is for state wages or state distribution.  

For W2,  Anything in box 17? If 17 is blank or 0 leave boxes 15, 16 & 17 Blank, no spaces.  If you have an amount in box 17 then enter the amount from box 1 into box 16.

For 1099R,   Anything in box 14? If not then leave boxes 14, 15 & 16 blank, no spaces. If you have withholding in box 14 then enter the same amount as in box 2a. If box 2a is blank use the amount from box 1.
