Question

I keep getting this pop up what does it mean? Other Additions/Subtractions Stmt (225): Sch B Part 2 Code is not a valid subtraction modification code. Sch B Part 2 Code

This appears to be a NY state return issue.  If so, go back and edit the NY return.

 

On the "Changes to Federal Income" page, scroll down to "other NY Adjustments to Federal Income" topic you will find a "Shareholder Partner, Beneficiary..." Edit that interview. 

 

You will get to an "Additions" page followed by a "Subtractions" page.  You will probably find an amount populated there. 

 

The "Subtractions" hyperlink will list the possible codes for those boxes.  Find the one that fits and enter it.
