I’m being told to file business taxes first for a company I had nothing to do with. What do I do?

Dispute the Request: Contact the IRS Business Tax line to dispute the request.  Explain the situation and confirm that your name, SSN, and EIN are not associated with the company.

Do Not File Incorrect Returns: Avoid filing any incorrect tax returns. Ensure that your personal information is not mistakenly linked to the company.
