I'm receiving a prompt for form 8919-S. I shouldn't have this form. How do I delete this?

I may have clicked something by mistake and I'm receiving the prompt to complete form 8919-S. I've deleted all information but it continues to show up. How do I delete it?

After you enter a 1099-NEC there is a screen that asks "Do one of these uncommon situations apply?" On that screen you might have selected "My employer reported this extra money on a 1099-NEC but it should have been reported on a W-2." That would require Form 8919. The -S means it's for the person who is listed second on a joint return.

If that is not correct, edit the 1099-NEC and change your answer to "None of these apply to me."
