I'm starting my own, solo LLC. To be able to deduct my health insurance, should the LLC pay the premiums or can I pay with personal $?

If you are a solo LLC, unless you specifically elect to be treated as a Corporation, you will be treated as a sole proprietorship filing a schedule C for tax purposes.  So, whether the LLC pays or you pay the premiums they will be reported the same and have the same effect on your taxes.
