i need to complete from 8949 and schedule d, where do i find these forms in turbo tax

    Those two forms are typically created when you enter a Form 1099-B, although they are used to report things that are not reported a Form 1099-B.  To get to the investment transaction section:

     

    • Click on Search
    • Type in "1099-B"
    • Click on "Jump to 1099-B"

    You will land on the starting page for reporting investment transactions.
