I want to get into my tax return and change entries. How do I get into the return when the form will not allow me?

You should not file an amendment until after the IRS processes the return you originally filed. They will most likely correct issues regarding the recovery rebate on Line 30. If your original return has already been processed and you have received your refund or paid your tax, use these instructions to file an amendment if you still need to.
