I no longer have a car I used last year as a partial business expense, how do I remove it from this years tax return

I need to remove an automobile from my 2024 tax returns, I no longer us it for business

Go to the Business tab

Business Income and Expenses Start or Update
Select EDIT for the business
Scroll down to Business Expenses
Scroll down to "Business Vehicle Expenses" START or UPDATE

Select EDIT for the vehicle

Select "I stopped using this vehicle" on the first screen

Continue the interview, enter any 2024 expense

If there will be any Depreciation Recapture, you'll need to address that when the vehicle is sold.
