Question

I received a Form 770 (Virginia Schedule K-1 Equivalent) for an inheritance. Where do I input that information into TurboTax? Thank you.

There is no place to enter a form 770 ... since this is a K-1 equivalent then enter it in the K-1 section or  you can enter the individual items in the places they belong if you can figure that out.  For instance interest would be entered in the interest section.

The TurboTax K-1 section does not have a place to capture the critical Form 770, Line 4 = Net Virginia Modifications. This amount comes directly off the VA taxable income. So, very important.

All I received  is the schedule from the Form 770 which is schedule 5 -beneficiary's information. This form conains nonresident Virginia source income. This information is info for filing a nonresident Va. state tax return.  My question is how to get turbo tax form to enter this info?

I have used turbotax for years. This year 2022 I have a nonresident K-1 from Va. Form 770 beneficary trust form. First can I file both a residend state form and a nonresident Va. state form  together with my Federal return. If so explain how the nonresident state form is requested to complete before my resident NC form. Thanks
