I traveled to make freight inspections where so I enter my miles

    It depends. Are you an employee or self-employed?

     

    No. If you are an employee, this would not be a deductible expense as employee related business expenses are no longer deductible.

     

    Yes. If you are self-employed, as you walk through the business expense section, you will come to vehicle expenses.  Here you will be asked about your vehicle.  This is where you will enter your mileage. 

     

    Can you write off Gas on Taxes?
