I work for Cherokee nation and am Cherokee and live on the reservation so I did Indian tax break thing and somehow it’s said I didn’t meet criteria so state dropped 600$?

Why would I not meet the criteria if the 3 things u have to have are be Native American live on Indian land and work for your tribe and I am and I do it took 600 off the 900 I was getting that’s practically all of it what do I do I thought turbotax would pay for what was wrong is that right since they said it was all right ?

Please clarify your question. What state return did you file? And who said you did not meet the criteria? TurboTax? Or did you receive a refund adjustment from your state?
