If I have an LLC single member entity type. Do I still have to file an tax return for it?

No, If you are a single-member LLC, you are a "disregarded entity" for Federal Income Tax purposes and your income and expenses would be included on your Schedule C for self-employed individuals, on your personal tax return.

 

Please be aware that many states do require some sort of additional annual reporting or filing for disregarded entities as well as for partnerships and corporations.  

 

Check with your State Department of Revenue for more information.
