Are you using TurboTax Desktop or TurboTax Online?  Please clarify.

In TurboTax Premium Online, I am able to locate the Import expense transactions in a self-employment activity by following these steps.

    • Down the left side of the screen, click Federal.
    • Down the left side of the screen, click Wages & Income.
    • Click the down arrow to the right of Self-Employment.
    • Click to the right of Self-employment income and expenses.
    • Click Edit to enter the self-employment activity.
    • At the screen Here's your info, the button Import expense transactions may be found under the Expenses heading.

The button was never gone, when I click on it. The button doesn;t give me the option to connect my bank account.(They way it does in the example video)

If you're using TurboTax Online, clear your  Cache and Cookies, then go back to Business Expenses.  When you click on 'Import Expense Transactions', the next page will say 'Connect Accounts'.
