It depends. If you want to do a "what if or test" to estimate what your tax situation will be in 2023, yes, you can use the 2022 software.
However, if you've completed your 2022 income tax return, do not enter 2023 information on your 2022 return. Your 2022 return information will be overridden and the information that gets transferred when you do your actual 2023 return will be wrong.
Note: If you have not filed your income tax return, do not enter any 2023 income tax data in your 2022 income tax return. Each years' data must be entered in the appropriate year.
Instead, create a new TurboTax "Test" account and enter the information in that return. It's free to use the software as long as you don't print it.
