do i file this as a separate file? Or would I

amend my 2022 taxes I did however receive this form late in 2023 once I had already filed my 2022 taxes ? I received this for the year my mom passed and trust and estate was distributed , she resided in Colorado and I am in Texas and my  k- 1 lists me as a beneficiary. Is there a penalty to file this now so late after 2023 yr when I received it in the mail

You'll most likely have to amend your 2022 return to reflect any income/gain on the K-1 (1041).

You could very well owe interest on any late payment of tax that was due by the due date for your 2022 return, unfortunately.

Is there a number I can call to speak to someone , I was told by my tax advisor when I received it that we did not need to file . I would like to show you a copy of the forms .

Why don't you just post the line numbers that have figures on your K-1?
