You may have inadvertently entered an inappropriate figure in the federal portion of TurboTax Online that's causing this.  To check:

    1. Select Tax Home in the left pane
    2. On the Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown to the right of Wages & Income
    3. Select StartPick up where you left off or Review/Edit, as appropriate
    4. Select Edit to the right of Net Operating Loss/QBI Carryforward Loss under Your income.  If it's not there, scroll down and select the dropdown to the right of Other Business Situations
    5. Select  Edit, Edit/Add or Revisit to the right of Net Operating Loss/QBI Carryforward Loss
    6. Make any changes necessary on the subsequent screens

    If that doesn't help:

    1. Open TurboTax Online
    2. Select  Tax Home in the left pane
    3. On the  Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown to the right of State Taxes box, then select Pick up where you left off
    4. If you land on the Status of your state returns screen, select Continue to the right of Michigan
    5. Select  Continue or Edit to the right of Michigan.  If no state is shown, select + Add another state
    6. Proceed through the state screens until you come to the Here's the income that Michigan handles differently screen
    7. Below Business, select Revisit to the right of Michigan Net Operating Loss
    8. On the  Net Operating Loss Attributed to Michigan screen, delete any amount entered in the box, then select Continue

This will delete any Michigan NOL information.
