You may have inadvertently entered an inappropriate figure in the federal portion of TurboTax Online that's causing this. To check:
Select Tax Home in the left pane
On the Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown to the right of Wages & Income
Select Start, Pick up where you left off or Review/Edit, as appropriate
Select Edit to the right of Net Operating Loss/QBI Carryforward Loss under Your income. If it's not there, scroll down and select the dropdown to the right of Other Business Situations
Select Edit, Edit/Add or Revisit to the right of Net Operating Loss/QBI Carryforward Loss
Make any changes necessary on the subsequent screens
If that doesn't help:
Open TurboTax Online
Select Tax Home in the left pane
On the Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown to the right of State Taxes box, then select Pick up where you left off
If you land on the Status of your state returns screen, select Continue to the right of Michigan
Select Continue or Edit to the right of Michigan. If no state is shown, select + Add another state
Proceed through the state screens until you come to the Here's the income that Michigan handles differently screen
Below Business, select Revisit to the right of Michigan Net Operating Loss
On the Net Operating Loss Attributed to Michigan screen, delete any amount entered in the box, then select Continue
