missing w-2 information Idaho employment number ( EIN )number XX-xxxxxxx

I have an EIN number from an employer but it does not show state or federal with held how do I report this ?

    Please clarify - what is the form number that you are using?  It sounds like you may have a 1099-NEC in which case the employer hired you as a contractor and not as an employee so they would not have withheld any taxes for you.  

     

    If what you have is a W2 and the box where the federal and state withholding should be is zero then you just enter it the same as any W2 but because the employer didn't withhold any taxes you may owe some taxes this year.
