My husband and I are consultants for our home business. How do I report that on the Schedule C ? It only allows for 1 person to be the home business.

You should file two Schedule C's and divide income and expenses according to each interest, or in any manner you deem to be reasonable.

To add a second Schedule C:

·       Type in schedule c in the search box, top right of your screen

·       Hit the Enter key

·       Click jump to schedule c in the search results

·       Arrive at Your 2017 self-employed work summary page

Click the Add another line of work button, follow the prompts and online instructions
