While most states follow the Federal track and Schedule E is for Rentals, Partnership income or loss, S Corporation income or loss, and Estate/Trust income or deduction, there are states that include other items that they want on their particular state Schedule E.
If you have any of the non-rental items listed above that is why your state information is requesting the Schedule E entries. If not you can check with your State Department of Revenue or Taxation and look at/download your State Schedule E to see if there is any other information they are requesting.
