Our partnership returns are done by a tax professional - which product is right to file the personal returns?

We had our Partnership/LLC returns done by a tax professional but still need to file them along with our personal returns. Does Turbotax premier allow that or do I still need to use Turbotax business?

Use TurboTax Deluxe for your personal return or upgrade to Premier if you have investment income to report.  TurboTax Business does not do a personal return.

there are several versions that could work for you

desktop versions - any but basic

    online -

    do it yourself

    assisted

if your pro is not e-filing the partnership return, you'll need to sign and mail it. to use Turbotax to e-file it, you would have to redo the return from scratch using the desktop business version (only windows version available) -  you would still need a personal version to do your 1040

If you buy the Desktop CD/Download program then any version will work.   All the Desktop programs have the same forms. You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions.

If you use the Online version and need to enter a K-1 you need to use Premier or higher.

What do you mean you still need to file the partnership return? Didn't the tax person file it?   Can't you just mail the 1065 return?
