I am a teacher and last year designed an online language program for an online school (not where I am employed). They sent me a 1099-nec and I am filling out the Schedule C. It is asking if I play an active role in the business. It was a one time thing.
This was a part-time gig... I worked on outside of my main job. Should I answer yes I play an active role or no?
