Resale Items Transferred for Other Use Within Business
We have a small (in-home) training and sales business. We have a few items that were purchased for resale (paying no sales tax), that we needed to use for training. The items were used within the business. I see the option in TurboTax to document the cost of items that were withdrawn from inventory for personal use, but not for other business use. Do I need to document the transfer of these items from our sales inventory? If so, how?
