Schedule C- 1099 NEC

You can file your Schedule C under your name and your social security number without naming your business.

To do this in TurboTax Online you can follow these steps:

1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax
2. Search for self employed income (use this exact phrase, don't add a hyphen) and select the Jump to link at the top of the search results
3. Answer Yes, I did on the Tell us about your self-employment work screen and enter what type of work it was
4.  Answer the OK - how do you see your XXX work?
   • If you answer this with It's a side job TurboTax does not prompt you for a business name
