Schedule H Reject code SH-f1040-520-01

I can't file my 1040 because Schedule H atomically fills in my name and my wife filed for the Employer Identification number. Also, she uses her maiden name. When I try to override using her name, it will not let me file the return.

We are paying the employment tax with our return, so if I eliminate Schule H, nothing will match.

Based on previous comments, it looks like the only logical solution is to file by mail.

Let's start at the beginning. When you first start the Sch H, it asks who paid. You must select your spouse.

    Next, enter the EIN, continue.

Now, the IRS knows the EIN and your spouse are connected in their system.

Your tax return should contain her legal name that matches her SSN and the EIN.
