Question

schedule k-1 box 11 code A where can I find info

I entered in all the info from Schedule K-1(Form 1065), and during review, TurboTax is prompting me to enter Code A detail.  There is no Code A detail on schedule K-1.

 

I'm given three options with REMIC, Other Portfolio Income (Loss), and Another Description Item.

The partnership is a  real estate conglomerate, of which I am a CONGLOMERATE, of which I am a domestic, limited member.

 

So I'm not sure what to put.

 

I did find this article however, I do not have a 951A.

    Your best option is to choose "Other Portfolio Income" as this is the most common entry for Box 11 Code A.

      And leave the section for "Other Portfolio Income (Loss) to be Reported on Page 2 of Schedule E" blank and select continue!
