Question

Schedule k-1 passive operating loss error not allowing me to e-file because of 2022 loss on my 2023 return?

sum of losses in individual years should not be greater than the total loss -$230.  The cell shown was the loss for 2022 only and not a total.
I was not able to e-file because of the error.

Can you clarify what your question is so we can assist you?  

 

Or can you let us know what box you entered information in from your Schedule K-1 to generate the loss from your 2022 return as well as the type of K-1 form you received (whether it was from a partnership or S-corporation)?  This will help us troubleshoot where the input is to assist you in completing your tax return.
