section 199A income from partnership but not getting the QBI deduction

    If your overall partnership income is negative then you will not qualify for the QBI deduction.

     

    There are also personal income limits for the QBI.  If your income is too high you won't qualify.

     

    Take a look at this article on QBI and see if you qualify and then post back here if you do.
