I am fully self-employed, online therapist. I also review products of an online retailer who will send me a 1099 for estimated tax value of products received, as non-cash income. Should this be filed as misc, other, or business income since I already file schedule C as sole proprietor.

Reviewing products for compensation is a business. But it is a separate business from online therapy (unless the products are directly related to therapy, but it doesn't sound like that's the case). You should file two Schedule C's, one for your online therapy business and one for your product review business. Both Schedule C's are included in your one tax return.

You are right, they are not directly related. Thank you for your reply!
