Should Michigan IRA values be entered on line 24 of schedule 1 instead of line 11?

I’m not understanding your question. 

 

Michigan Schedule 1, line 11 is for military retirement benefits due to service in the U.S. Armed Forces or Michigan National Guard or taxable Tier 1 and Tier 2 railroad retirement benefit. 

 

Line 24 of Schedule 1 is the Tier 2 Michigan Standard Deduction.

 

If you are referring to Line 25, qualifying retirement and pension benefits included in your AGI may be subtracted from income, including defined benefit pensions, IRA distributions, and most payments from defined contribution plans.
