Should Schedule K-1 Box 14. Code z* have a dollar amount listed?

I received a Schedule K-1 (Form 1041), Beneficiary's Share of Income, etc. Box 14 has several entries. Two of those entries is a Z* with one providing a dollar amount while the other Z* entry doesn't have a dollar amount only the entry STMT.

For the entry STMT, should I try to obtain the information from the Schedule K-1 Statement and Footnotes that were included? Or do I not enter this into Turbo Tax?

Similarly, I also have an entry in Box 14 that is just an * with the entry STMT, do I look for a Statement and Footnotes for that to enter as well?

Thank you for taking the time to review my question!

Since code Z in line 14 is for Other Information (a catchall category), you need to try to obtain the information from the K-1 statement and footnotes.  Using this information, you will need to manually enter the item both on the K-1 and also on the appropriate tax form or schedule.  It will not flow automatically from the K-1.

The same situation applies to any entries in Box 14 -- use any information in the STMT for direction.
