Question

Sold MMTLP Preferred shares in 2022, WeBull is reporting a zero cost basis and provided no supplemental form. Just trying to figure out how to proceed.

Just not sure how to even begin calculating the cost basis on these shares, or if I need to.

this is a public forum so if you don't know how you acquired the shares or what you paid we certainly don't know either.  that symbol isn't even valid when searching Yahoo finance.  contact the broker to see what info they can provide.

@Mike9241  Sorry for not being more specific. I bought MMAT in 2021 and MMTLP preferred shares were issued as a special dividend in 2021. I'm assuming since nothing is truly free, there was some cost that should be attached
