TurboTax provides world-class software that uses an intuitive interview process to gather your information and generate the required tax forms for filing. You answer questions about your personal status, your wages and other income, and -- for your business, questions about business income and expenses.

That information from your federal return is automatically carried over to your state return -- and the interview process will ask additional questions for state-specific information to ensure that the necessary state tax forms are also completed.

But -- our software is only supported for the current year and three prior tax years. (TY2020-TY2023). I suggest that you work with one of our Verified Pros who would be able to help with the older tax years that you have mentioned in your other questions.
