There are forms that are not ready for filing yet and if your tax return contains one of those forms, you won't be able to file until the form is ready. You can check this link to access the Forms Availability Tool to see if and when forms are available. The message is normal for this time of year.
On January 8, 2024, the IRS released a notice describing many changes required to implement the Secure Act 2.0. Section 601 of the Secure Act 2.0 refers specifically to Simple and SEP Roth IRAs. Check back later and remember, the IRS does not start accepting returns until Jan 29.
