When I delete the schedule c. It will allow me to efile. This is an an indication that there is a problem with the software and not a personal one.

Sch C is a business return and it asks a lot of questions. Do you want to clarify what you are seeing that is preventing you from filing? Are you getting an error?

I only get the error when I finish and I want to efile. It says not able to efile due to regulations. I can then delete the schedule C. It goes right through and allows meto begin to efile, asking for bank info and Id. That is why I say it is a problem with the software. Either software or update. Please help I cannot efile until this issue is resolved.

It sounds like all of the forms needed to go along with your Schedule C have not yet been approved or released by the IRS. There are a number of forms than can be used to supplement the information reported on a Schedule C, so even if the Schedule C itself is ready to go, another form being used may not be ready yet.

The IRS will not begin accepting and processing any tax returns until January 29, so you have a few days that you can wait without causing any delay with your return. Hopefully everything will be finalized and ready by then.
