transferring files from 202 home and business to 2021 business

I have a feeling a bought "more" turbo tax in the form of 2021 Business than I was supposed to. I have filed Home and Business for a small consulting business I have and get a 1099-MISC for. When purchasing the desktop version of TurboTax at Costco, I could have sworn the display outline said I needed 2021 Business. I loaded my 2021 Business and tried to transfer files from last years, but it can't find them? Will H and B files from 2020 not transfer to Business 2021? I've resaved 2020's a number of times as .pdf's, but my 2021 Business doesn't find them?

No. Turbo Tax Business is a totally different program. And you can't transfer a personal return to Business. If you used Home & Business before you do not need Business.

Turbo Tax Business is a separate program from Home & Business. TT Business is for 1120 Corporation, 1120S Corp, 1065 Partnership or 1041 Estate/Trust returns. Not for self employed independent contractors. Any version of Turbo Tax (except the Free Online edition) will handle a 1099Misc and 1099NEC. You just get more help in the higher versions.

So, am I screwed and out the $80 I paid for this version? I've already registered it and installed it. Will Turbo Tax allow me to download the correct version that I need without paying for a whole other version?
