Turbo Tax did my 2022 taxes. I have an accountant now who has filed for 2023 and asked me where my Schedule C or Schedule E is from the 2022 taxes.

If you can't get the side menus to open up to access the prior year..... You need to start entering some basic Personal Info in 2023 for the side menu to open up. Just continue a little ways into 2023. I had to go though about 12 screens.

If you used the Desktop CD/Download program then the only copy is on your computer and not saved or stored online. So you need to make and keep your own backups.

Look at Schedule 1 in your 2022 tax return. If there is no amount on Schedule 1 line 3 then there is no Schedule C in the return. If there is no amount on Schedule 1 line 5 then there is no Schedule E in the return.

The total income from Schedule 1 is on Form 1040 line 8. If Form 1040 line 8 is blank, then there is no Schedule 1. If there is no Schedule 1 then there is no Schedule C or Schedule E.
